Validation of a TAM Extension in Agriculture: Exploring the Determinants of Acceptance of an e-Learning Platform

Supporting education and training initiatives has been identified as an effective way to address Sustainable Development Challenges. In this sense, e-learning stands out one of the most viable alternatives considering its advantages in terms resources, time management, geographical location. Understanding reasons that move users adopt these technologies is critical for achieving desired social objectives. The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) provides valuable guidelines identify variables shaping users’ acceptance innovations. present study aims validate a TAM extension designed FARMER 4.0, application agricultural sector. Findings suggest content quality (CQ) primary determinant farmers’ entrepreneurs’ perception tool’s usefulness (PU). Furthermore, experience (EXP) self-efficacy (SE) shape potential perceptions about ease use (PEOU). This offers helpful insight into design development applications farming sector empirical evidence TAM’s validity assess technology acceptance.
